SwissPay Africa — QA Test Suite

Overview
A fintech product handling real financial transactions cannot afford to launch with bugs. Before SwissPay Africa could go live, every feature — from account creation to transaction processing — had to work reliably, consistently, and without gaps. We were brought in to design and execute a comprehensive quality assurance process that would give the team full confidence before launch.
What We Built
We created a structured manual QA test suite covering 170+ individual test cases across 18 product features. Each test case was documented clearly — capturing the test scenario, the expected behaviour, the actual result, and the pass/fail status — so the entire team could follow the process and track progress in real time. The suite covered the full range of user journeys: registration and onboarding, wallet top-up, peer-to-peer transfers, offline transaction flows, error states, and edge cases that most testing processes miss. We went beyond functional testing to include boundary testing and negative testing, deliberately attempting to break the system in ways a real user might.
Outcome
SwissPay Africa launched with a rigorously tested product. The test suite gave the development team a clear picture of the platform's health at every stage and provided stakeholders with documented evidence of quality — an important asset for a fintech seeking partnerships and regulatory confidence.
